N.S.W. WHEAT POOL

FINANCIAL AND SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS. Sydney, October 24. The “Sydney Morning Herald” states that the' Government wheat pool is financed bv a shipping syndicate headed by Lord Inchcape. Mr. Dooley, the Premier, gives this an absolute denial, and explains that five millions were raised through the Agent-General in the ordinary wav. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., are handling the chartering of shipping, and will also arrange for the disposal of wheat abroad. Referring to tho commission to be paid, Mr. Dooley said that two other shipping firms rejected the offer that had been accepted by Dalgety and Co.—Press Assn.
