FLAG INCIDENT IN SYDNEY
TOWN CLERK AND THE LORD MAYOR. Sydney, October 13. The Town Clerk of Sydney has reported on the difference, with the Lord Mayor over his refusal to substitute tho Australian flag for the Union Jack on the occasion of Mr. Storey's death, and has asked to be relieved of the- responsibility in connection with tho flying of flags nt the Town Hall. The Finance Committee deferred consideration of the report.—Press Assn.
