The quarterly meeting of -the Wellington South Methodist Circuit was held on Monday evening nt ths Island bay Church. Tlje Rev. E. Drake occupied th? chair, the Rev. J. G. Chapman and a number of officials being present. The membership returns . showed uOS senior members and 418 juniors. The schools were shown to be in a heaitny condition. Foreign mission reports gave £B6 as the income for the year, while over £240 had been promised or given to tho Centenary' Fund. Tho income for an purposes amounted to £330, leaving a small deficit on working expenses. Messrs. C. Swlney and A. H. Brooks were appointed representatives to Synod, with Messrs. R. A. Ferguson and E. ( O. Cox as substitutes. Arrangements were made for Sundayschool anniversaries during the quarter. The Rev. E. Drake received and accents od an invitation to labour in the circuit for a seventh year. Eulogistic references were made to the services of the Rev. J. (J. Chapman.
