ALLEGED THEFT OF JEWELLERY
MEMBERS OP MAORI ENTERTAINERS’ PARTY CHARGED. Sydney, October 10. Roderick Munreme and Robert Henton Munroe, of the Maori Entertainers’ Party, have boen formally charged with tho theft of jewellery. Detective Thom, of Wellington, is awaiting an extradition order to escort the accused to New Zealand.—Press Assn. [The men are charged with the theft of jewellery, valued at 5300, the property of.Minowa Hermia. They declare that the jewellery was given them by Hermia for safe keeping, to he realised upon if difficulty arose with the touring party. Tlie jewellery is said to be in the ixissession of a solicitor at Palmerston North.]
