JUDGMENT SUMMONS CASES. Charles Peacock was ordered to pay Henry O’Malley XI 9s. 6d., in default three days’ imprisonment, warrant to be suspended for one month. James O’Connor is to pay the City Carriage Works, Ltd., £32 19s. 9d„ by instalments of £1 per month. T. Lovett is to pay J. O. Smith £3 14s. 6d. by instalments of ss. per week. L. A. Jones is to pay Lindsay, Ltd., £3 4s. 6d„ in default four days' imprisonment, warrant to be suspended for one month. W. J- Doyle was ordered to pay Paterson, Mossman, and Co. .£lB 13s. by instalments of 10s. per month. T. Lovett is to pay Dolan and Rogers £l7 ss. 10d. by instalments of ss. per F. Burton is to pay Christensen and Oldfield £3 19s. 6d. in default four days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended for one month. Alexander Campbell was ordered to pay Dennis and Sons £25 14s. by instalments of £2 per month. BREACHES OF SY-LAWS Mr. F. K. Hunt S.M., dealt with the offenders against the city by-laws. For having no light on his motor-car, B. W. Campbell was ordered to pay 7s. costs. , A. Crawford, for a similar offence, was also ordered to pay 7s. costs, and for leaving his motor-cycle unattended in the street was fined ss. and 7s. costs. W. Sunnex, for driving a vehicle without lights, was fined 20s. and 7s, costs. T. Richardson was fined ss. and 7s. costs for leaving his car unattended in tho street and for a similar offence R. Dwyer was penalised to tho same extent.

For driving a two-horse lorry on the wrong side of Lambton Quay, Joseph Edge was fined 10s. and 7s. costs. Frank Manning was fined 10s. and 7s. costs for driving on the wrong side of Courtenay Place. For allowing his chimney to catch fire, W. Owers was fined as. and 7s. costs. • For allowing stock to wander, Sarah Archibald was fined 10s. and 7s. costs; W. Hndley, James Harris, and Georgs Hood were each fined ss. and 7s. costs; Frank Kettlewell and D. E. MGCay, each 10s. and 7s. costs; Norman Ellis, J. M'Nicol, F. Moore, end S. Stevens were each ordered to pay 7s. costs; and R. Welsby was fined ss. and 7s. costs.. For having unregistered dogs in their possession, William H. Kinvig, Clarence Smith, and Susan M'Gillivray were each ordered to pay 7s. costs.
