SATURDAY’S TRAMWAY RECEIPTS.
The cash receipts (which total does not include used concession tickets) for the Wellington city tramways on Saturday amounted to £1266. The previous best return for a single day was Chrisflmas Eve last, when the sum of £1220 was taken on the cars.
