SINN FEIN DELEGATES INTERVIEW MR. LLOYD GEORGE

FINAL REPLY EXPECTED ON FRIDAY

The Dail Eireann’x reply to ( Mr. Lloyd George’s invitation to a conference has not been received yet. Two Sinn Fein delegates interviewed the Premier, and after discussing certain questions returned to Dublin. A definite answer is expected to be received to-morrow.

They discussed some points with reference to the suggested conference. They ate now returning to Dublin with Mr. Lloyd George’s views for further consideration. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. The Gairloch correspondent of the "Daily Express” states: "The definite acceptance or rejection of the Government's terms is expected to reach Mr. Lloyd George’s hands on Friday. Messrs. Boland and M'Grath had an hour’s interview with Mr. Lloyd George, who had spent ,the morning fishing. Ho caught A 101 b. trout, and then went for a walk in the direction Messrs. Boland and M'Grath were expected, hoping to meet tho Sinn Fein delegates on the road, possibly in order to display tho trc|it. At any rate, he missed them. They had travelled 34 hours without sleep. After an interview they immediately started on an 80-miles motor-car journey at night, across desolate highlands, inorder to res ch Dublin in time for the Dail Eireanh meeting on Wednesday, nt whteh the answer will finally be considered.
