Plans are proceeding for the erection of a huge wireless receiving station in Montreal under the ownership and operation of the Marconi Wireless Company of Canada. The Polish trade statistics for 1923 show exports of 620,315 tons (232,731 tons, to Germany) and imports 3,539,811 tons, including 2,608,610 tons of coal from Upper Silesia. Moro than £600,000 is invested in diamonds each year by residents of New York.
