The R.M.S. Makura Is <i,ue at Auckland this morning from Vancouver. Site is to leave Auckland to-night for Sydney. t WAIKAWA LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company’s Waikawa left San Francisco on August 18. and is due at Auckland on September 7, and will afterwards call at Lyttelton and New Plymouth. GENERAL STEAMSHIP CORPORATION. Radio advice lias been received. :in Auckland stating that, the Las Vegas is due there on September 12 from San Francisco, via Honolulu. After discharging the Auckland portion of her cargo, she will visit Wellington, and later Sydney and Melbourne. The other vessels of this company’ (the West Holbrook and the West Mahwnh), which run on the monthly service, will be loading at Sax Francisco early in September. Tho West Mahwah is due to leave San Francisco on September 10, and before going to Australia will call at one New Zealand port providing there is sufficient inducement. The West Holbrook leaves San Francisco on September 9 for Auckland, via Honolulu, and should be at Auckland about October 11. The Kennedy is due tp-day from Foxton, hut her future movements are indefinite. The Wootton arrived from Lyttelton last night, but she will not sail on ths return trin now until to-morrow. It is expected that the Waitomo will get. away for Dunedin on Monday or Tuesday. , The Kowhai is expected to leave Greyniouth for Wellington to-morrow, and the Kokiri oh Monday. Both vessels ar* bringing coal and timber. The Kahika is due on Sunday from Gisborne, but her future movements have not been fixed ■ 1 The Kohi is due afly time from Sandy Bay with a load of stone.
