MEN’S EXECUTIVE CONSIDERS MINISTER’S PROPOSALS. (Rec. August 25, 10.45 p.m.) ' Cape Town, August 24. The Railwaymen’s executive considered the proposals submitted by the Minister of Railways arising out of the parlous financial position, and involving a reduction. in pay. The men's executive decided that it was unable to be a party to any agreement having the effect of returning to worse conditions than before the war.
