Landymore shot a goal. This livened the B team up, and after a spell of even play the' right wing of the Blues broke away and shot hard at goal twice, both shots being grandly saved, but Miss Clark, coming at a fast run, scooped the ball into the net and equalised. In the second spell the Blues played a hard game, their halves and backs playing well and frustrating all attempts by the Reds to break through. Just before time the right wing again got going, and Miss Campbell scored the winning goal for the Blues. The most prominent players were Misses Sawkins, Campbell, Flitcroft, Sullivan, Nicholas, Letham, and Rowell. Mr. Yeoman was reforea. CANTERBURY BEAT OTAGO. By Telegraph \Press Association. Dunedin, August 21. An interprovincial Soccer match be- * tween Canterbury and Otago was played on Carisbrook ground on Saturday and resulted in a win for the visitors by two goals to one. The only score in the first spell was a goal by Norman (Canterbury). Shortly after resumption, Norman again scored, and with ten minutes to go Reddiman (Otago) scored. Canterbury had all the best of the play.
