STEAMER RUNS AGROUND
EXPECTED TO BECOME A TOTAL LOSS. (Rec. August 21, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 20. The Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company’s steamer Patella (5617 tons), ■which collided with the Benalla on May 13, is iu trouble again. She ran aground on a sand bank at Lisbon. Her cargo of oil has been jettisoned. The Chinese crew refused to leave the vessel. It is feared that the Patella will become a total loss. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
