STRIKE AGAINST PROPOSED REDUCTION OF WAGES. Paris, August 15. The textile workers at Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing have struck against th<4 employers* proposal to reduce wages by* forty centimes (roughly 4d.) an hour, with a further reduction of ten centimes n. few weeks hence.
