A JUDGE’S STRONG OBJECTION.
Objection to children “going about town street collecting” was made by Mr. tice Reed m the Supremo Court yesteidav during the hearing of a case IP which the Crown alleged indecent assaiilt on a little girl by a man to whose shop she had gong collecting in aid of church funds. “It is simply a temptation to men of a. certain type to interfere with these children,” said His Honour do not think that ihe practice should lie allowed— certainly it should not 'be encouraged.” , The child's mother was in court, vou take my adviced’ she was told by the Tmtoe “you will not allow your little girl" to go out collecting money. ■
