INAUGURATING FOUR-WEEKLY SERVICE TO BRITAIN. Melbourne, August 3. The management of tho Commonwealth steamers irt inaugurating a four-weekly service to the United Kingdom, via Suez, calling at Colombo, commencing at the end of the year, with the Moreton Bay, 12,500 tons. The vessel is being completed in England, and four others are in course of construction. —Press Assn. [These new vessels will bo oil-driven, and will hove accommodation for 700 third-class passengers and a crew of 200.]
