BILLIARD CHAMPIONSHIP
Two further games in this tourney wero played last night at Billiards Limited. In the first game, Sinclair (Post Office Pastimes Club) just managed to beat his opponent, Baker, of the Returned ■Soldiers’ Club. The best breaks were: Baker 34 and 26, and Sinclair 26 and 20. The second game was between two ol<X consistent triers in this competition— Stone (of Petone Working Men’s Club) and Dinnison (of tbe Post Office Pastimes Club). It proved an even contest up to the last few points, when Stone, securing the best of the positions, managed a win by the narrow 'margin of 20. The best breaks were: Stone 34 and 29. Dinnison 24. To-night, at 7 o’clock, Tapp (Working Men’s Club) will play Toms (Pastimes Club), and at 8.15 Duncan (Returned Soldiers' Club) will play Harrison (Post •nd Telegraph Club). 5
