THE WEATHER

FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for north-westerly to south-westerly gales. Boisterous conditions. with heavy rain probable generally. rivers flooded on the west coast and snow on higher levels. Much colder weather following. A further decrease in barometric pressure is to be expected before a definite rise takes place. Very heavy seas likely on all the western Coast. Strong and squally westerly winds have ruled, with cloudy skies and rain on all the western coast. Barometric pressure has continued unsteady and very low. D. O. BATES. Director.
