HIGHER FEES TO BE CHARGED. Authority for tire preparation of regulations to provide for the following increases in fees for vehicle licenses was sought by the By-laws Committee at the City Council meeting last night:— Bug-

G. H. Burn made a. noint thnt the extra revenue derived from the license fees should 1 be earmarked for expenditure on the roads. Tho recommendation was adopted.
