COMMERCIAL CABLE TRAFFIC
HEAVY BETWEEN BRITAIN AND AUSTRALASIA. (Rec. July 21, 9.15 p.m.) London, July 20. The Australian Press Association learns that commercial cable traffic between Britain and Australasia is now unprecedentedly heavy. Commercial authorities are of opinion that this is duo to the neePssity for caution, in view of tiio instability of prices. At the same time there are signs of improvement in Australasian trade, and a further easing, of exchange difficulties. The excessive cabling is partly due to the placing and fulfilment of overseas orders which had been held up owing to the recent strikes. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
