CONCEALMENT OF BIRTH
CHARGE AGAINST PRISON INMATE By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 21. As a sequel to the discovery of the charred body of a newly-born nwue child in the furnace at Mt. Eden gaol, Fiona Ellen Waite (aged 31). an inmate of the prison, is charged with having disposed of the dead body of her child with intent to conceal the fact of its birth. Accused is ill. and the case has been adjourned till Wednesday.
