PREMIER OF NEW SOUTH WALES
SPECULATION AS TO CONTINUANCE OF LEADERSHIP. (Rec. July 17, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, July 17. Mr. J. Storey, Premier of New South Wales, has reached Brisbane on the return from his visit to England. The question whether his health has been sufficiently restored to allow him to continue the leadership of the party is causing speculation. There are rumours regarding possible splits if a now Premier has to be chosen.—Press Assn.
