Advice has been received of the arrival in East Africa of three Romney Marsh rams shipped there at the end of October last through the agency of Messrs. Abraham and Williams Ltd., from the flock of Mr. A. R. Fannin, of Hiwimania, Taihape. After five months’ journey by sea and land they arrived at their destination in the best of condition. In a letter from tho purchaser, he expresses surprise at their splendid condition, and says he considers them first rate sheep, and feels certain that they are going to bo invaluable to him and make his flock a “now thing,” they being just the type of sheeji that he wanted.
