IRREGULARITIES ALLEGED.

During the past week rumours have been current to the effect that the accounts of a Wairarapa local body had been under investigation. It now transpires that the Featherston County Council with offices at Margnborough, is the local authority concerned. Irregularities involving some hundreds of pounds and operating over a period of several years, are stated to have been discovered.
