BOWLS
y —<6 NEW ZEALAND TEAM’S ITINERARY’ AT HOME. According to copies of the printed itinerary of the New Zealand bowling team’s tour of the. United Kingdom, 23 games in all were to be played in the English section. The itinerary included, visits to Wales and Ireland, but. no matches were set down to 'be played in either of these places. As matches were played nt Cardiff, Bangor, Carlisle, and Belfast, the assumption is that such games were played under the auspices of the Welsh and Irish Bowling Associations. The only entry between June 6 and July 15 is "crossing to Ireland and return to Scotland,” so that it is certain that the team is now up against tho real thing in tho home of bowls. The rest- of tho English fixtures arc as follow: —July 15. v. England (second Test), four rinks, on green to be selected near London. July 16, to Brighton. Reception by the Mayor and corporation and '•'unofficial match at the Preston Club’s green. July IS. opening Brighton and Hove second annual tournament.
