' A London message states that Mr. Hughes has received- from Australia particulars of tho debate in the House of Representatives on the suggestion that ho should attend the League of Nations meeting nt Geneva, in September. After reading the message, Mr. Hughes said: “I have no intention whatever of staying for tho League of Nations meeting.”
