A HUNDRED AND THIRTY PEOPLE DROWNED THOUSANDS OF HOUSES DESTROYED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. June 20, 10,45 p.m.) Tokto, June 19. Following oh a prolonged rainy season, tho worst floods in thirty years have occurred. A hundred and thirty people were drowned in Northern Kiushiu Island, and several thousand houses destroyed in Fukuoka, Saga, Oita, and Ngasaki. Bridges wero carried away and collieries flooded in the cities of Kokura, Kurume, and Wakamatsu. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
