Tho King and Queen, thu King of Spain, and many Royalties witnessed the first of the polo testa between England an : America. The latter won by eleven goals to four. The game was very fast. The Americans were better mounted on superb ponies, nnd played with more understanding. The British throwaway chances through .poor shooting and lack of cohesion.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
