DEATH OF A MENTAL HOSPITAL WARDER

An inquest was held yesterday nt Porirua by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., into tho cause of death of Joseph Rogers, an attendant at the Meatal Hospital since August, 1910. Rogers died while on leave on June 10 at Titahi Bay, where he resided in a cottage by himself, lie was w single man, 30 years of age, and a returned soldier. Dr. P. J. Monaghan, assistant medical officer at Porirua, who made a post-mortem examination, said that tho cause of death was tubercular meningitis, and tho Coroner found accordingly.
