WELLINGTON PRESBYTERY

The Wellington Presbytery met last night in St. Andrew’s classroom. The Rev. J. A. M'Kenzie (moderator) presided. A hearty welcome was extended to the Rev. R. M. Ryburn, director of “Youth Work," who addressed the presbytery upon tha work in which he was engaged. He expressed the opinion that on the presbytery's Youth _ Committee there should be representatives of the district committees. The Sunday-school teachers also should be represented. He thought that the Church was making a vast mistake if it allowed undenominational bodies to teach its teachers. The instruction given to the teachers should be along the lines that the Church' approved, and for that reason it was necessary to get the teachers together as often as possible, and help them. What to do for children in the backblocks was one of the problems to be faced. It was hoped that something might be done for tho scattered children by correspondence. A motion was carried thanking Mr. Ryburn and assuring him' that his suggestions would receive careful consider!!- , tion.
