GERMANS THE LARGEST OPERATORS. London, June 9. The free wool sale attracted a good selection of scoured and greasy merinos, and some fine Tasmanians. There was a strong demand, Germans being the largest operators. Everything sold at full opening rates, nnd occasionally a slight advance. There was also a good home and Continental demand for crossbreds at full rates. Realisations:— “Dunlop,” 36d.' to 33M.; “E.A.D.,” 25id. io 24{d.: "Toorale.” 4dd. to 33d.. ; “Boatman,” 30|d. to - 39 d. Bradford tops market has a good tone, but the coal shortage is affecting business, Quotations: 64's, 42d. per lb.: 69's. 38d. to 89d.; 50's, 32d. per lb.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
