HUTT HOTELS
ANNUAL MEETING OF LICENSING COMMITTEE.
The annual meeting of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held yesterday, Mr) E. Page, S.M., presiding. Thera were also present: Messrs. E. R. Rainsford, J. H. Fairbairn, M. W. Welch, and A. Anderson.
Transfers of licenses were approved ns follow:—B. C. P.eid to AV. G. M'Pnrtland, Family Hotel, Lower Hutt A. T. Gatrell to P, T. Pederson. Failway Hotel, N. St. Leger to D. Christie, Bellevue Hotel, Lower Hutt. Publicans’ licenses were granted to the following applicants:—W. G. ' Ml'Partland. Family Hotel, Tower Hutt; E. M'Bride, Grand National Hotel. Petone; P. T. Pederson, Failway Hotel, Lower Hutt; J. .M'Kechnie. Victoria Hotel, Petono; D. Christie, Bellevue Hotel, Lower Hutt. Licenses were renewed as follow:—.T. Solway, Central Hotel, Lower Hutt; TV. H. J. O’Donovan. Empire Hotel, Petone; A. C. Wright, Central Hotel. Petone; W. Baggstrom, Taita Hotel, Taita. The application of A. Y. Lee for renewal of a wholesale license was grant-
ed. , it was decided that, the hotel lamps remain lighted until 9 p.m.
