ELLERSLIE TRACK WORK By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, June 1. Rain fell during the night, but it was fine, though dull, for training work at Ellerslie this morning. The bulk of the work was done on No. 3 grass track. The only ones to go fast went on the sand. Khublai Khan and Lorelight ran seven furlongs on tho sand before breakfast in Imin. 32-seo

After breakfast, Omahu and Ruddy went four furlongs in 55 3-ssec., the former- afterwards doing strong work. Persian King and Perfect Day did six furlongs, the last five taking Imin. 3 1-ssec.

Ngata ran four furlongs in 55sec., then, did strong work. Kauri King wont two rounds, running home the last four furlongs in 53 2-sseo. Golden Bubble did five furlongs in Imin. Bsec.; Queen Abbey the same in Imin. 7sec. Royal Abbey went, one round in Imin. -16 3-srec.

King Abbey covered six furlongs in Imin. 17 3-ssec.

Powder King was schooled over four hurdles. His display was not impressive.
