ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

A MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held last evening at the Y.M.C.A. rooms. There were present: Messrs. AV. Auld (chairman), L. Hendry, C. Webster, F. Banks, W. Duncan, L. White, H. L. Godber, A. E. Wells. H. Liversage, H. Yeoman, and the secretary, Mr. A. AA illiaijis.Owing to shortness of notice, it was found impossible to get a junior representative team to go to Palmerston North to-morrow, but the offer of the Brooklyn team to take their place was agreed to, and the latter team thanked for their offer. The Karori Club asked for permission to play a game on Anderson Park on June 3.—lt was decided to inform the club that they must make application to the director of reserves.

Mr. C. Webster tendered his resignation as a second division selector. Air. Graham reported that the tour of the Rovers team in tho Blenheim district was a great success, tho team winning all the four games played, and scoring in all 16 goals to nil. It was decided to grant Association Park for the Brooklyn Methodist v. Presbyterian Social Club match to-mor-row. •The transfer of M. Hayvice from Institute third division to Stop-out Club was granted. Mr. Brvce was appointed referee m the match Waterside v.‘ Thistle, which will be played to-morrow at the Basin Reserve, the kick-off being at 2.30 p.m. It was decided to thank Messrs. Alavet and Kean for their donation of handsome medals to the winners of the six-a-side competition (senior division), Thistle being the winners.

THISTLE V. WATERSIDE TOMORROW.

Great interest is being taken in the meeting of Thistle and AVatersiders on the Basin Reserve on Friday. Both teams are very confident of winning. The proceeds are being devoted in aid of Prince of Wales Park The Watersiders’ Band will be in attendance. As the object is a worthy ono, it is hoped the public will roll up and patronise the game. ’Mr. W. Bryce will act as referee.

AMENDED FIXTURES.

Amended fixtures for Saturday are:—

Japiea; South Wellington v. Newtown, at Newtown Pajk. Bro. Donatus. Junior Division.—Wadestown v. Newtown, at Kelburn, B. Ixiadsman; Northland A. v. South Wellington, at Dcppa Street, A. Houston; Northland B v. Marist (T.), at Duppa Street, AV. Perkins; Worsen Bay v. Marist (N.). at Association Park, E Heath; Hataitai v. Ngaio, at Anderson Park, S. Bertram.

Stop-Out teams for Saturday are:— Third Grade: Brown (captain), Hanley, Slatford, Duncan, Legge, Johns, Logan, Chown Watts, Baker, and Bailey. Fourth B v. Institute: Anderson (captain), M'Kinley, Clark, Morgan, Bolton, M'Masters, Hitchen, M'Gavin, Pratt, Palmer, and Lucchesi. St. Peter’s Mission 7th Grade v. Thonidon: M'Gavin (captain), White, Kemp, Brigden, Quine, Evans, Sjoberg, J. -Moore, A. Moore, R. Dunn. J. Dunn. The following team will represent Thistle against Waterside Athletic on the Basin Reserve to-morrow:—Haddow, M'Kenzio, and Taylor; Bradb'fry, Brownice, and R. Smith ; H. Smith, M'Arthur, Campbell, O'Shea, and Henderson.
