GERMAN LIEUTENANT’S INNOCENCE ESTABLISHED.

The proceedings against Lieutenant Karl Neumann, charged with submarining the hospital shin Dover Castle; will be publicly withdrawn from tho Court, on Friday. .A preliminary examination completely established Lieutenant Neumann’s innocence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [The British hospital ship Dover Castle was torpedoed without, warning at fi p.m. on May 26, 1517. in the Mediterranean. At 8.39 p-m. she was again torpedoed and sunk. Tho whole 1 of tho hospital patients and the staff were transferred to other ships, but six of the crew were lost-” 1
