At an inquest on the victims of the aeroplane smash on May 23 when three persons, the pilot. Major Hubert Ross, and two passengers, Miss Jessie Dorman and Cyril Harris, were killed by am Avro machine crashing in the back yard of a house at Port Melbourne, an expert in hia evidence, advanced' (die theory that the heel of Miss Dorman’s shoe, jammed the rudder bar, causing tihe machine to fall into a left spin. The witness added that Miss Dorman’s heel was almost torn off. —Press Assn.
