GAMES FOR TO-MORROW. Tho Petono team will meet Poneke at Athletic Park to-morrow. King’s Birthday. and more than usual interest is being taken in the fix ture, as both teams are unljeaten in tho senior grade. The match will be preceded by two curtain-raisers, when Oriental will meet Marist seniors, whilst the Petone A will meet Poneke sixth grade. The proceeds of the matches nt the Athletic Park will lx> divided—so per cent, to the insurance of players' fund and 50 per cent, to the general fund. The Petone sixth A. team has ecored 209 points for and three against, not having had their line crossed this year in five mat-' ch os, while Ponelce i sixth team, has 189 points for and eight against, having played one game less than Petone.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ -COMPETITION. As to-morrow is a holiday, the Wellington primary schbols’ Rugby competition games, which have been interrupted by tho term holidays, will not be continued until next week. The second; round of fixtures to lie played on Friday, June 10, is as follows:— Senior A Grade. —Terrace v. Hutt D.H.S.. at Wakefield Park; Mount Cook v Clyde Quav, nt Kilbirnie Reserve; Kilbirni'e v. Eastern Hutt, at Wakefield Park; Lyall Bay v. Te Aro, at Kilbirnie Reserve.
Senior B Grade.—Newtown v. Petone West, at IVakefield Park: Marist v. Normal. at Kilbirnie Reserve; Brooklyn v. Berhampore, at Athletic Park; South Wellington v. Potoue D.H.S., at Wakefield Park.
Junior Grade. —Clyde Quay IT v. Newtown 11, at Kilbirnie Reserve; Lyall Bay II V. Brooklyn 11. at Lyall Bay Ground; Marist II v. Island Bay, at Newtown Park; Rosencath v. Kelburn B, at Newtown Park; Karori v. Kelburn A,, at Anderson Park; Kilbirnie II v. Muritai, at Kelburn Park. All matches commence at 3 p.m.
