FORCED LABOUR
QUESTION CAUSES RIOT IN INDIA. (Rec. May 25, 8.10 p.m.) Delhi, May 23. A riot occurred at Mahgaon between Mohammedan landowners and Hindu tenants over the question of forced labour. The former, fearing an attack, fired on unarmed villagers, killing two and seriously wounding fifteen.—Reuter.
