II AT AT r AT ELECTORS’ ASSOCIATION
The monthly meeting of the Hataitai Municipal Electors’ Association was held on Monday, Mr. A. E. Batt, in the chair.
It was decided to request the City Council to erect a fence on the vacant plot at the corner of Hataitai and Huia Bonds, it being pointed out that in its present condition it was a menace to pedestrians, especially at night-time. Hearty congratulations were extended to Councillor W. J. Gnudin on his recent success at the municipal elections. Consideration was given to Mr. A. C. ’.Blake’s notice of motion for the deletion of clause 4 in the Wellington Town Planning Association’s constitution. It was unanimously decided 1 to dissent from same, and the delegates to the Town Planning Association’s annual meeting were instructed to strongly oppose the proposition.. Messrs. Bear, Dowling, and Searle were appointed delegates to the Town Planning Association’s forthcoming annual meeting. The annual report and accounts were read and approved. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on June 5.
