NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY
NOMINATIONS FOR NATIONAL OFFICERS.
The annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party will open in Wellington on July 14. A reception to tho visiting delegates will be tendered nt the Trades Hall on the evening of Wednesday, July 13. The first business of the conference proceedings will be the delivery of an address by the retiring president, Mr. P. Fraser, M.P. Nominations for the national officers of Ihe party are as follow:—For president: Messrs. F. R. Cooke (Christchurch). E. Canham (Wellington), and J. Read (Wellington); for vice-president, Messrs. H. T. Armstrong (Christchurch). .1 Thorn (Wellington), F. Twort (Wellington). R. Ross (Palmerston North). Mr. Moses Ayrton has been returned unopposed as secretary of tho party.
