ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
MANAGEM ENT COMMITTEE MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last evening in the Y.M.C.A. Present: Mr. W. Auld (chairman), Messrs. R. Hendry. C. Webster, H. L. Godber, P. Banks, H. Yeoman, and A. Williams, hon. secreihry. It was resolved that owing to the delayed answer from Canterbury, the match ori June 3 be cancelled with the latter, and that a fixture be arranged with local teams. In answer to a letter from Palmerston North it was decided to send a senior team to Palmerston on Juno 3. The Rovers were granted permission to take a teain to Blenheim on May 23, also to Martiiiborough on June 3. The Wellington Rugby Football Leaguo wrote asking for permission to play on the Petono stop bank ground. Owing to the ground being used every Saturday, it was resolved that the application be not Br q’he e< Gisborne Club asked for pirticulars re rules, affiliation, etc. It was decided to send the communication to the N.Z.F.A. The Waterside Athletic Football Club forwarded a letter Te colours, and it was decided that Messrs. Webster and Yeoman meet tho above club on Saturday evening and explain the position ns far as tho Management Committee are conC °lt°was decided to write to all clubs re subscriptions and outstanding dvies being paid by July 1, otherwise the clubs mnv be drastically dealt with. Tho procuring of small footballs for the seventh and eighth divisions was left in the bands of Mr. Auld.
