SATISFACTORY WORK
AUSTRALIAN GRAVES STAFF.
London, May 10.
Mr. M. L. Shepherd, Official Secretary in Great Britain for the Commonwealth Government, has returned from a week’s visit to the battlefields. He reports that the work of. the .Australian Graves Staff under Major Phillips is most satisfactory. It is hoped to disband the staff before the end of the year, when the work of exhumation will have been completed, and to hand over the work to the Imperial Graves Commission.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
