LEAGUE FOOTBALL
FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Rugby League was held at. the Trades Hall, Vivian Street, last evening, Mr. F. C. Evans presiding. The Auckland Rugby Football League wrote accepting Wellington's challenge for the Northern Union Cup. The date is to be arranged later. The, following are the fixtures tor Saturday next:— Senior. City v. Central, Emmerson Street, Mr. Thompson; Petone v. Athletic, Newtown Park, Mr. Murphy. Junior. Petone N. v. Petone W-, Petone Recreation Ground, Mr. Ford. City v. Central, Emmerson Street, No. 2, Mr. Henderson. Athletic v. Petone South, Nowtown Park, No. 2, Mr Cooke. Third-class. Athletic v. Petone, Petone Recreation Ground, No. 2, Mr. Laudgridge.
