SIX O’CLOCK CLOSING
EXEMPTIONS IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Aisociation. Auckland, April 20. The Magistrate's Court was thronged to-day with small shopkeepers, who applied* to be exempted from being compelled to close at 6 o’clock. Exemptions were granted .in 70 cases where the Labour Department raised no objections. One was refused as the applicant ha<l a day assistant, and several were journed.
