FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.
Tho weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association Management Committee was held last evening at the Y.M.C-A. There were present: Mr. D. Auld (chairman), Messrs. R. Hendry, C. Webster, L. White, F. Banks, H. Yeoman, H. L. Godber, A. E. Wells, and A. Williams (hon. secretary). The New Zealand Council wrote, stating that its membei-s were unanimous in removing the suspension of a Petone player named by the local association. The Brooklyn Club entered a team in the fifth (B) division. The Waterside Athletic Club wrote, entering a team for the fifth division. Much discussion took place over the colours of tho Waterside Athletic Club. It was decided to allow them to play on Saturday next, but that in future all matches must be played in different colours, as Karori have a prior right to those chosen, being the older club. Complaint was made that the dressingshed at Association Park was in a bad condition, and it was resolved to have the necessary alterations and repairs made at
once. The committee passed a hearty vote of thanks -to Mr. C. Webster for his offoit on behalf of the' ground at Association Park on Saturday last. Following are the senior fixtures, ’rounds, and referees for Saturday:— AVaterside Athletic v. Institute, at Association Park No. 2, R. S. Lithgow. Thistle v. Diamonds, at Association Park No. 3, AV. G. Boyce. Swifts v. Petone, at Petone Recreation Ground, J. Roberts. South AVellington v. Porirua, at Porirua, H. Yeoman. Brooklyn v. Y.M.C-A. B, at Lyall Bay, E. Windley. Karori v. Hospital, at Porirua, B. L. Salmon. Marist r. Y.M-C.A. A, at Seatoun, C. F. Ward. All otlieir grades will start on Saturday, April 30.
