BRAKES FAIL TO ACT
TRAM CRASH IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 20. Owing to failure of the brakes to act, a tramcar crashed Unto a second car, which was stationary. Both .care were considerably damaged, one having tho platform completely wrecked. The cars fortunately, were empty at the time The motorman escaped with a few scratches.
