SHIPS FOR PRODUCERS
SOUTH CANTERBURY FARMERS’ APPROVAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Tiniaru, April 17. The executive of the South Canterbury Farmers’ Union to-day discussed Mr. Bernard Tripp’s scheme for the acquisition of a producers’ line of steamships, and unanimously approved of the proposal. The scheme will be discussed on April 21 in Wellington by tho Producers’ Committee.
