DEATH OF MR. P. H. MILLER

Tho bodv of Mr. Refer Hatton Miller, a well-known resident of Wellington, was round hanging in the coal shed at his residence U Caroline Street, yesterday morning. Apparently the body had been - hanging for some hours. The late Mr. Miller, who was 65 years, of age, was a native of Melbourne, and had been resident in New Zealand for about 35 years, the greater portion of which ho had spent in Wellington. For some years past he had boon in very poor health, and during recent- nionths had suffered from insomnia. During the last week ho had seemed a little more, cheerful than usual. Deceased loaves n widow, but no familv. For some years the deceased resided in Tinakori Road. An inquest will be held.
