CAMPAIGN OF BUTCHERY OF ARMY HORSES
ATTACK ON CORK PRISON By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. London, April 13. Sinn Feiners in Dublin have begun a campaign of butchery of Army horses. They held up military wagons, forced the drivers to dismount, and shot four horses. Another party shot a couple of mules. . Rebels attacked the eastern wing of fife 'vor’k Prison. Cable Aesn. RECOGNITION OF IRISH REPUBLIC MEASURE INTRODUCED IN UNITED STATES SENATE. Washington, April 13. Senator La Follette has introduced a resolution in the Senate asking the -United States to give recognition to the independent Irish Republic.
