THEFTS FROM AN HOTEL
A number of guests in a local hotel on Wednesday night had sums of money stolen from their rooms. They are not the only ones ,who suffered, for during the brief absence of tho porter from the office between eight and nine o’clock, the snm of .£l5 was abstracted from the till. In all, some fifteen or sixteen guest* complained in the morning that various sums were missing, and it°is estimated that the thief or thieves made a haul of something like £5O.
