INCENDIARISM IN CORK
BRIGADE REFUSES TO ATTEND FIRES. (Rec. April 8, 9.35 p.m.) London, April 7. The Cork fire brigade, when summoned to outbreaks at Blackrock, refused to leave the station, because the fires were of incendiary origin. It is reported that armed men visited cottages in the neigh, bourhood, sprinkled the furniture, with petrol, and then burned the houses — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
